Anna Gjertsen, PsyD, BCB has a comprehensive clinical, academic and research background. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington College, achieved a master's degree in Experimental Psychology from Villanova University, and earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Widener University.

Dr. Gjertsen brings six years of diverse clinical experience to her work with clients across both outpatient clinics and residential treatment centers. Her clinical experience centers on supporting individuals navigating complex health challenges, trauma, substance use concerns, and anxiety. She utilizes an integrated, person-centered framework—weaving together biofeedback, neurofeedback, and dynamic talk therapies such as CBT, ACT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy—to help clients cultivate self-compassion and achieve deeper emotional regulation.
